IMPORTANT GAS UPDATE – Updated 22/11/2021
We are writing today to share an update on gas supply to your block of land at Willow.
The gas authority, AusNet, has recently advised ID_Land that it has revised its projected date for the supply of gas to stages 5-7 at Willow. We have been advised that AusNet’s original estimate for connection to the existing gas network has since been brought forward from the 2023 date previously anticipated. AusNet have now confirmed that the provision of gas will be available to purchasers in Stages 5 – 7 once Willow’s external gas mains are constructed – these works are estimated to be complete by the end of November 2021.
We understand that many purchasers may have designed their future homes with alternate energy sources in place to account for the lack of gas supply. Recognising this inconvenience, ID_Land will still be providing the $3,000 vouchers previously discussed with purchasers in Stages 5 – 7.
At this stage, purchasers in Stage 8 onwards will still be awaiting the completion of AusNet’s upcoming Macedon Ranges augmentation project before they can access gas, estimated for completion in 2023.
While the provision of gas at Willow is outside of ID_Land’s control, we do apologise for the inconvenience caused. We hope this news provides future residents with the opportunity to be able to connect to gas at the completion of their home’s construction.

Will this delay Titles for my stage?
No – this does not impact anticipated title registration times at Willow. Click here to view our latest Construction Updates.
Are other nearby projects also affected by this?
Yes – projects in the Macedon Ranges area and beyond are currently facing the same issue, and there are several other developments in neighbouring regions within the AusNet network that have also been impacted.
Can I still move into my lot in Stage 8 – 10?
Absolutely – you can still move into your new home as soon as Certificate of Occupancy is received – it will just be without a fixed gas supply. You can still use electric appliances normally, or if you still wish to use gas appliances you can install an external gas bottle supply (from suppliers such as Elgas) to your home. To assist with this, we are giving affected purchasers in Stages 8-10 $2,000 vouchers for alternative arrangements, to ensure they can still move into their new homes on time.
Will my lot still be connected to gas infrastructure?
Yes, all internal works and infrastructure at Willow will be completed and you will still have a physical gas connection to your lot. At a later date, AusNet will connect Willow to their wider network and gas will then be supplied throughout the estate.
How do I register for the voucher?

I live in Stage 1 – 4, can I claim the $3,000?
As residents in Stages 1 – 4 will have access to a fixed gas supply, this voucher won’t be applicable to you.
I’m considering buying in Stage 9-10 when it’s released, can I claim the $3,000?
Yes, however it will be at the reduced amount of $2,000. This is because the amount of time between the estimated completion of your new home and the supply of fixed line gas will be shorter.
