This natural wonder is perfect to explore during the warmer summer season and offers a mix of leisurely walks including pram-friendly paths, or more adventurous hikes for those seeking a challenge.

Home to spectacular views and fascinating history, drop by the Hanging Rock Discovery Centre for a more hands-on experience to understand the site’s fascinating background and history, or fuel up at Hanging Rock Café before or after your summit climb.

Picnics and barbeques are welcome too with areas and facilities catering to both scattered throughout the parkland.

During the current September – mid-April period Hanging Rock is open seven days a week from 9am – 5pm, with last entry in the area at 3:30pm.
