This weekend, rug up and visit the beautiful Forest Glade Gardens, which is recognised as one of Australia’s finest private gardens.
Only an 11-minute drive from Willow, Forest Glade Gardens is a sprawling, 14-acre garden located on the southern slopes of Mount Macedon. Approaching its 100th birthday, this enchanting place offers a journey through four distinct landscape themes, each celebrating its own unique natural beauty.
Start your explorations in the large English section, home to exotic trees and bursts of colour, followed by the delightful Japanese section, complete with a bonsai house, before moving into the shady woodland and the cool and mystical fern gully.
Forest Glade Gardens is open to the public 7 days a week, from 10:00am. With admission at only $10 per person, you won’t regret experiencing this tranquil garden.
