Meet Willow’s first purchaser, James Guarnaccia
James Guarnaccia had been searching for suitable property for his first home for over a year, when a colleague told him that Willow was launching in the area.
Only a stone’s throw from his parents’ house and the town he grew up in, James was immediately drawn to Willow’s location upon visiting the site, with the picturesque landscape one of the many benefits of purchasing in his hometown of Gisborne.
James, a self-employed bricklayer, was so determined to get his hands on the right property that he knew he couldn’t miss the first release of lots at Willow and risk having to wait any longer for his first property.
With his dream home firmly set in his sights, James packed up his tent, camping chair, blankets and snacks, and headed to the Willow sales office to set up camp for the night.
For James, it was incredibly important to be first in line when the doors to the Willow sales office officially opened for business.
“I’ve lived in Gisborne my whole life and I had my heart set on staying, I just needed the right option to become available. I knew it finally had when I heard about Willow.”
“In Gisborne I’m close to my family, my work and all of my friends, so Willow is in the perfect location for me – buying my lot was a no-brainer,” James said.
News of James’ success at Willow eventually found its way back to his workplace, with one of his favourite team mates purchasing the adjoining lot, meaning the two will soon be neighbours.
“He’s a really good mate of mine and I look at him for about ten hours a day, so he may as well live next door to me too!” James said.
In his spare time James enjoys the great outdoors, taking advantage of everything Victoria has to offer, such as the Murray River and Echuca, both located less than two hours north of the beautiful Gisborne area.
“I head up to Echuca a lot to go camping and fishing, usually up near the Murray – I love being outdoors,” he said.
James and his neighbours are looking forward to building their dream homes at Willow. For more information on available lots at Willow and to stay up-to-date with the growth of ID_Land’s newest project, visit https://www.willowgisborne.com.au/news.
