It’s time for the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival!

The Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival is on its way, with a blockbuster program of events set to run throughout the Macedon Ranges from the end of March!

Kicking off the first weekend of the festival, the Ultimate Autumn Picnic at Jacksons Creek Reserve on Sunday 27 March will be an event both kids and adults will love, with live music from Cassidy La Crème and Tash York.

For the kids, some of our must-visit events include the Gisborne Autumn Storytime event at the Gisborne Library, ‘Beasties’ petting zoo in Riddells Creek, and the Light Up Kyneton visual light display set to illuminate the historic Kyneton Mechanics Institute.

For arts and culture lovers, we recommend paying a visit to the Kyneton Contemporary Art Triennial: Holding the Circle, which will explore themes of listening, learning and sharing experiences across non-traditional venues in Kyneton. Alternatively, get your dancing shoes on and book tickets for La Gran Fiesta! Discover the passion, magic and rhythms of Argentina, Cuba & Spain through food, music and dance.

Finally, we all know that the best part of a festival is delicious food! Our top tip is to spend your Saturday afternoons at Parkside Winery and Farm’s Acoustic Pizzas weekly event, where you’re invited to enjoy a gourmet pizza, a glass of wine and the relaxing vocals of local musicians.
