Monika and Will were thrilled when their search for the perfect place to call home led them to Willow in Gisborne. The couple share first-hand knowledge of the wonderful lifestyle that comes with living in the area, having grown up in Kyneton and the surrounding Macedon Ranges.

With one toddler, and another baby on the way, Monika and Will feel the move to regional Victoria is the perfect choice for their growing family. Together for 14 years, the couple is excited to get started on building their forever home – the safe and welcoming Gisborne community being the ideal place for their kids to grow up and make friends.

“We don’t want to move while the kids are growing up and at school, we want them to have plenty of time to make new friends and settle into their lives here.

“We can’t wait to build our dream home and make the most of the regional lifestyle we already know and love for many years to come,” Monika said.

Members of both Monika and Will’s extended families, including their parents, still live near Willow – a major factor in drawing the couple back to the region.

The couple’s decision to make the move back to regional Victoria was also motivated by COVID’s restrictions and lockdowns.

“Being so far away from family and having that separation during lockdown made us realise that we need to be close to them, especially for the kids growing up,” Monika said.

Monika highlighted the attractive lifestyle offered by regional Victoria, alongside the chance for the kids to grow up around their grandparents, as the major factors that influenced their decision. Access to beautiful natural scenery, local schools and a safe, tight-knit community made Willow in Gisborne the perfect choice for the young family.
