Take a day trip to one of Macedon Ranges’ local parks
One of the biggest drawcards at Willow has consistently been the stunning scenery that Gisborne and the Macedon Ranges has to offer.
Now that lockdown measures have eased and we can start heading out into the great outdoors once again, the area’s local parks and nature reserves are primed and ready to be explored.
There are three botanic gardens in the Macedon Ranges, in Gisborne, Kyneton and Malmsbury, with each providing an idyllic location for an afternoon walk and a picnic with the family.
There’s also a number of bushland reserves in the region, with something on offer for families looking for a quiet walking track, friends arranging a socially distanced catch-up, and experienced hikers looking to blow out the cobwebs after a locked-down winter.
Now that weekends are just about back to their brilliant best, make sure you plan a day out at one of these incredible local parklands!
